Leigh Fountain is President of Life Force, LLC, a boutique firm

Leigh combines a unique set of skills in business and human capital
– from Sales to Human Resources to Leadership Development – which
have been applied in global corporate environments. Leigh also
served for three years on the Board of Trustees for The Learning
Circle and since 2009 as co-chair of the Leadership Gifts Committee
for Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health.
Leigh effectively works with CEOs, senior leaders and all levels of
employees. Leigh also provides open session programs and coaching in
his work with individuals in all types of organizations, schools,
churches, and communities.
Leigh
provides keynote speeches, workshops, institutes, teambuilding, and
coaching. He has delivered programs for folks from around the world
– from
Moscow
to
the
Far
East
– with consistently high ratings and results. A much sought-after
speaker, he frequently addresses audiences in settings such as
conferences, institutes, internal organizational events, executive
education programs, and corporate universities. Leigh is highly
engaging and interactive – he gets people involved in their own

Since 1998 Leigh has served on the faculty of the Global
Institute for Leadership Development; from 2003-2005 on the faculty
and advisory board of the Best of Organizational Development Summit;
as a faculty member at Tallahassee Community College; and, he is a
founding member of the International Association of Coaches. Leigh
is also a contributing author on organizational change in the book
The Art and Practice of Leadership Coaching: 50 Top Executive
Coaches Reveal Their Secrets (John Wiley & Sons, 2005) and Linkage
Inc.’s Best Practices in Succession Planning (Pfeiffer, 2007).
Leigh built a successful career with senior executive global roles
on Wall Street in institutional sales, leadership, organizational
effectiveness, and sales training with Merrill Lynch, Salomon Smith
Barney, and JPMorganChase. Initially working in education, Leigh
helped grow a training and organizational consulting business to 275
people. Leigh also focused on communication and organizations,
including clinical training in counseling and national certification
in experiential learning. Leigh is a certified 500 hour Professional
Level Kripalu Yoga Teacher and member of the Kripalu Yoga Teachers’
Association; he is a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga
Alliance; and, he is a member of the International Association of
Yoga Therapists. His Masters Degree research and thesis was on
communication in the workplace.
Additionally,
during his years in education, Leigh was selected to participate in
a five year program for which, upon completion, he received
certification in Clinical Education. Leigh achieved and continues to
maintain six areas of professional certification in his education
license. Further, Leigh has professional certification and training
in special needs education, behavioral assessment and counseling,
critical incident stress debriefing, crisis intervention, and
numerous other areas of specialty. Leigh is certified to offer a
number of diagnostic tools including: DiSC,
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and 360 degree feedback tools
such as the Leadership Assessment Inventory.
Leigh
developed the STAR
Model© as a template to help create effective
change and ensure the organization – whether it’s a management
team, work team, division, or entire corporation – sees all the
relevant and related aspects that come into play. The STAR Model©
has been successfully applied with mergers, sales, restructuring,
and teams.
